What could have been.

Today I was made aware of a Television show that existed only as a pilot in 1999, but had it carried on it would have changed the world. 

This show was called "Heat Vision and Jack." This piece of art was written by Dan Harmon (creator of Community) and Rob Schrab (Monster House) with direction from Ben Stiller. Is you interest peaked? Well it should be. "Heat Vision and Jack" follows Jack Austin (played by Jack Black) an astronaut who got too close to the sun and became a genius and his deadbeat roommate-turned Motorcycle Heat Vision (voiced by Owen Wilson). The talking motorcycle is an amalgam of most Owen Wilson characters and Jack is apparently powered by the sun. My feelings on this show are pretty clear, but give it a watch if you can spare thirty minutes.  Here is the pilot episode.
I don't believe this miracle of TV went any farther than one prefect episode, but can you imagine where the world would be if it had?
